We are located in the heart of Tuscany, among small and ancient villages Radicondoli and Casole d’elsa stand out.
This middle ground is animated by Francesca and Amedeo, two young passionate truffle hunters. Their dedication to nature is accompanied by a deep bond with dogs, the true protagonists of truffle hunting.
Francesca and Amedeo would like to share their knowledge and love for this activity, whose traditional knowledge and practices are officially inscribed on the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage, as of December 2021.
A chance to connect with nature, to rediscover the slow rhythms and value of simplicity but also the joy and fun that animates a hike with dogs!

Francesca
Truffle hunter, environmental guide and trainer
Francesca is a true truffle hunter who has chosen Tuscany as her home for several years. We find her in Radicondoli, a small village with great potential and surrounded by nature, where she lives in a rustic farmhouse with her faithful companions: Olivia, Bianca, young Ulysses and Gamera, the hawk she trained.
An environmental guide and trainer certified by ENCI (Ente Nazionale Cinofilia Italiana), Francesca combines her passion for nature, with her skill in working with animals. His commitment and expertise turn each Truffle Experience into an authentic and engaging experience, where guests can immerse themselves in the wonderful world of Tuscan truffle hunting. With her knowledge of the area and her love for animals, Francesca embodies the authenticity and excellence of the experiences offered by Casole Truffle.
Amedeo
Founder, restaurateur and trainer
Amedeo is a true Tuscan DOC, the “Senior” of Casole Truffle, a business he started in 2015 when he was little more than a young boy. He resides in Casole d’Elsa, where he divides his time between truffle hunting, running the family Osteria and spending time with his two small daughters. He turned his passions into work, devoting himself to truffle hunting, a tradition deeply rooted in the Tuscan territory, and also becoming an ENCI (Ente Nazionale Cinofilia Italiana) certified trainer. With his deep knowledge of the local area and his love for local gastronomy, Amedeo carries on his work with authenticity and initiative. It helps make the Casole Truffle Experiences a unique and unforgettable experience for all those who wish to discover the secrets of Tuscan truffles in the kitchen as well.

Just five months old, she already has clear ideas! Beneath that puppy-like appearance lies a very fine nose and a clever mind like no other! After all, blood tells the truth: the Riccio di San Miniato is an unrecognized local breed, rare and precious, selected for generations by Tuscan truffle hunters to hunt down the King of truffles, the Precious White. Cooperative, attentive, and willing, she responds enthusiastically to training. She has been with us since February 2026.

With that silent look of his you struggle to get into his mind but not into his heart! Extremely affectionate and reliable she is a passionate and very willing dog! Like a true explorer she checks every nook and cranny in search of the earth’s diamond, the truffle! Rest assured that if you go out with her, you will not go home empty-handed! Alba has been with us since 2018 😍

Here is a true example of a “rescue” dog! At the age of eleven his life was completely turned upside down!
From being a “condo ladder” dog, with no safe place to stay or figurehead, she became the baby of the family…once she was physically recovered, she began, somewhat for fun, a truffle training course, demonstrating a great passion…especially for food!
Always with us on every move!

Rugged and durable, it is as reliable and long-lasting as the well-known batteries! A truffle marathon runner: with her, time flies and she would never stop looking for truffles, at least as long as there is no mention of ball… She is sweet and affectionate, but extremely possessive of her humans! Woe if a dog gets too close to sniff…much ado about nothing then because it has an easy bark but is completely harmless. She has been our faithful companion since 2017 ❤️

“The Beautiful Shamaness“
A cross between pointer and kurzhaar, she is a bundle of nerves and muscles, with a model body. She is unbeatable at covering ground and doesn’t know what energy conservation is, when she goes around looking for truffles she is kinetic energy made dog! Very affectionate with humans, she loves cuddles and physical contact very much! When he finds a truffle he gets so excited that he barks and jumps. She’s a little gruff with other dogs, has some anxiety that comes from the past, but that goes away quickly when it comes to running and being outside! He has been part of the team since 2018 🫶🏻
